The College of Pharmacists of Manitoba (CPhM) seeks a detail-oriented, tech-savvy, dynamic communications professional to support strategic and operational goals across the organization as a Senior Communications Specialist. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a hybrid work model and the opportunity to lead meaningful, impact-driven communications work in a regulatory environment.
About the Position
The Senior Communications Specialist leads and implements a range of communications activities that elevate the work of CPhM. This includes creating and executing communication campaigns, overseeing media relations and digital strategy, producing internal and external publications, and guiding the development of educational modules and presentations.
Working closely with the Communications Coordinator and staff across departments, the individual in this position supports CPhM’s legislated mandate and strategic priorities by ensuring messaging is consistent and accessible. The role also includes staff mentorship, organizational reporting, and cross-functional project collaboration.
Assets include: demonstrated leadership in communications; strong writing and editing skills; experience with media relations, analytics, and digital content creation; and the ability to adapt tone and messaging across platforms and audiences. Experience in a regulatory, healthcare, or professional environment is considered an asset.
