General Call for Expressions of Interest for Committee Service

Attention all pharmacists and pharmacy technicians registered/listed with CPhM, as well as members of the public and Council members:

CPhM is currently seeking individuals to serve on both statutory and standing committees. These committees play vital roles in advancing the mandate of CPhM to regulate the practice of pharmacy in the public interest.

The statutory committee is responsible for executing legislated duties, while standing committees provide essential support to the Council’s initiatives. Your participation in committee work directly contributes to shaping the future of pharmacy practice.

Committee compositions vary and encompass diverse perspectives. Whether you bring expertise, experience, or unique skills, your contribution is valued. We invite you to explore the information available on the CPhM website and to submit an Expression of Interest form.

At CPhM, we prioritize assembling committees that are well-balanced and equipped to fulfill their responsibilities effectively. Factors such as expertise, practice setting, and demographic representation are carefully considered in the selection process. The aim is to ensure that each committee is optimally constituted to achieve its objectives.

Please note, every effort is made to align volunteer interests with committee assignments. However, appointments are subject to the availability of vacancies at the time of review.

Join us in shaping the future of pharmacy practice and making a meaningful impact on the profession. Your involvement is instrumental in upholding the standards of pharmacy care and safeguarding the public’s well-being.
