New College of Pharmacists of Manitoba job opening filling a leave of absence.

The College of Pharmacists of Manitoba (CPhM) seeks an enthusiastic and experienced individual to collaborate closely with colleagues across all departments of the organization to analyze, develop, and maintain policies, standards, and other guidance items for pharmacy practice as a Practice Consultant – Policy and Legislation.  This is a 0.80 FTE term position to fill a leave of absence.    

About the Position  

The ideal candidate will support the analysis, development, implementation, and maintenance of policies, processes and/or programs as identified in the strategic and operational priorities of CPhM.  The individual in this position works closely with other staff to support core functions related to assessing and monitoring professional practice, pharmacy operations and systems, registration and licensing, and quality improvement.  

Assets include: a working knowledge of health-professions legislation, including The Pharmaceutical Act of Manitoba and supporting Pharmaceutical Regulation; administrative, organizational and time management skills; and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
