Citizens Roster

The Citizens Roster is made up of members of the public who reside in Manitoba. Individuals from the Citizens Roster are Community Representatives who appointed to work with pharmacy professionals on committees of Council.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Community Representative on the Citizens Roster to serve on a College of Pharmacists of Manitoba (CPhM) committee.  The public relies on the CPhM Council, and by extension, its committees, to achieve its mandate and uphold the public interest.  It is, therefore, important that there is adequate public representation on all CPhM committees.

To apply, please complete the application form online and submit a resume, if available.

When completing the questionnaire regarding competencies, please note that not all competencies are required.  The majority are considered asset competencies and will assist the Council in ensuring that community representatives on committees help maintain a diverse membership with individuals from a variety of perspectives, backgrounds, and geographic locations.

Any experience, whether through other community involvement (e.g., at your children’s public schools, involvement in music, sports, theatre or other non-profit organizations), or other volunteer work or activities you participate in, can help demonstrate how you possess these competencies.

Please note, there is a section on the application form that ask you to list affiliations.  This is where you can include details on these volunteer/external activities to support the competencies questionnaire.

Please contact CPhM at info@cphm.ca with any questions or requests for assistance regarding the application process.

*Individuals who are pharmacy professionals, or is a director, owner, board member, officer or employee of any professional advocacy association related to the pharmacy professions, are not eligible to apply to the Citizens Roster.
