Reporting Pharmacy Ownership and Manager Changes
Effective January 1, 2025, failure to notify the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba (CPhM) of changes in ownership and pharmacy management within the specified time frames, as outlined in sections 64, 68 (c) and 70 of The Pharmaceutical Act and section 47 of the Pharmaceutical Regulation, will result in a failure to file fee. These policies ensure that all pharmacists and pharmacies remain in compliance with The Pharmaceutical Act and regulations.
By updating ownership and manager information in a timely manner, pharmacies help CPhM maintain accurate records, which are essential for our role in regulating pharmacy practice and protecting public safety.
- Make sure to submit the necessary documentation, including a file share summary from the Manitoba Companies Office, as part of your application. Non-compliance will result in a fee of $100 per each day after the deadline, up to a maximum of $10,000.
For more information on the new policy, including a detailed FAQ, please visit the https://cphm.ca/about-the-college/self-regulation/policies/ or contact registration@cphm.ca for further clarification.
