The College of Pharmacists of Manitoba is recruiting to fill a part-time position for Complaints Investigator on a permanent basis. This is a 0.70 FTE permanent position to supplement the current 1.00 FTE permanent staffing.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and progressive with excellent communication, interpersonal, and investigative skills. The individual will be able to work independently in a self-directed environment and also have the ability to collaborate effectively with other staff.
Assets include prior experience working in a regulatory environment, a working knowledge of health-professions legislation, including the Pharmaceutical Act of Manitoba and other pharmacy-related legislation, administrative, organizational and time management skills, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in pharmacy, law, or other regulated health profession, or a background in law enforcement and investigation
- Knowledge of administrative law and regulation of self-governing professionals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated discretion and tact in observing privacy and confidentiality policies
