College Council Election – Call for Nominations
The College is conducting an Election of Council Members to serve a two-year term, beginning immediately after the Annual General Meeting on May 7, 2022.
Information regarding the nomination process, including the Nomination Form and Candidate Profile and Statement, was distributed to registrants on February 8, 2022, and posted on the
CPhM website’s Elections page.
Nominations must be received at by the College office by 4:00 p.m. CST Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
Only complete nominations will be considered.
Annual Learning Portfolio Review Reminder
The College is currently conducting the 2020 – 2021 Annual Learning Portfolio Review. Approximately 20 per cent of licensed pharmacists were selected to participate in this process, and emails were sent to the selected pharmacists in January. A reminder email was also sent on February 10, 2022. Please check your inbox for the email address that you have provided to the College as well as your junk folder to see if you have been selected to participate.
The Annual Learning Portfolio Review helps ensure pharmacists engage in continuous learning through accredited and non-accredited learning activities to remain eligible for licence renewal and to help maintain competence to practice.
Practice Directions Consultations Reminder
Pursuant to The Pharmaceutical Act and Regulations and the Policy Statement on Practice Directions, CPhM welcomes the feedback of all stakeholders, including registrants and members of the public, through a transparent consultation process. To facilitate this process a webpage dedicated to public consultation has been added to the CPhM website. It is located at the “Consultations” tab under the “News and Events” heading of the CPhM homepage or alternatively at the following link: https://cphm.ca/news-events-publications/consultations/
To supplement the currently open consultations, summary charts of the proposed amendments to the following practice directions have been posted:

PHAC COVID-19 Virtual Library
The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) recently published the COVID-19 Virtual Library of health data and evidence on the Public Health Infobase. The Virtual Library provides centralized access to a searchable collection of national surveillance and research data and evidence about the broader health impacts of COVID-19 in Canada.
