Pharmacy Technician Listing Renewal Notice Reminder
Pharmacy Technicians listed with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba (CPhM) must renew their listing annually. The online renewal portal opened March 14, 2022. The deadline for renewal is June 1, 2022. Pharmacy technicians who do not renew by June 1, 2022, will be removed from the List of Pharmacy Technicians.
Pharmacy managers are reminded to verify that pharmacy technicians working at their practice site have renewed their listing.
Pharmacy Technicians should refer to the email sent by CPhM for further information. If you require assistance with the Pharmacy Technician renewal process, please email bdelaquis@cphm.ca.
Temporary Closures: Ensuring Continuity of Care
On April 13, 2022, a notice was sent to all pharmacy managers on behalf of the College with a reminder to ensure continuity of care for their patients if there is a need for a temporary pharmacy closure.
The College encourages all pharmacy professionals to review the Permanent and Temporary Pharmacy Closures Practice Direction and Checklist. In the case of any emergency closure, please follow the Practice Direction and checklist to the greatest extent possible. Additional information can be found in CPhM Emergency Preparedness Resource Kit for Pharmacists.
Please be reminded that pharmacy managers are required to notify the College in the event of a pharmacy closure, including a temporary emergency closure. Please notify CPhM via email (fieldops@cphm.ca) of the status of any temporary closure and submit the completed Permanent and Temporary Closure checklist.
CPhM Annual General Meeting Registration is Now Open
The College of Pharmacists of Manitoba (CPhM) will hold its 144th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, May 7, 2022, by webinar.
