College of Pharmacy’s Essentials in Advanced Patient Care for Pharmacists Micro-Certificate Program

In today’s ever-evolving healthcare environment, pharmacy professionals encounter increasingly complex patient challenges, emphasizing the necessity for ongoing professional growth.

As part of the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba (CPhM) commitment to lifelong learning, we are sharing information on behalf of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Manitoba about the launch of their Essentials in Advanced Patient Care Micro-Certificate Program.

About:

The Essentials in Advanced Patient Care Micro-Certificate Program enhances pharmacists’ clinical knowledge and evidence-based care skills. Through this program, pharmacists gain deeper insights into contemporary pharmacy practice, enabling them to provide patient-centred care grounded in the latest evidence-based medicine.

The program recognizes the demands of modern pharmacy practice and offers a flexible learning experience. Pharmacists can access asynchronous and synchronous sessions via an online platform, accommodating their work commitments while pursuing professional development. With a duration of up to two years, participants can progress through the program at their own pace without compromising on learning quality.

How to Apply:

Applications for the Essentials in Advanced Patient Care Micro-Certificate Program open on May 13, 2024. Interested pharmacists can visit the program website for detailed information and to begin the application process. For further inquiries, please email PharmacyPD@umanitoba.ca.
